I give my students 30 minutes of Free Choice time on Friday afternoons. During this time, they can play games, use the computers, write on the chalkboard, etc. Students who have unfinished work from the week complete their work at this time. Also, students who do not behave appropriately lose time and must sit at their desks watching others have fun. I take away time in 10-minute intervals, but if your class is harder to manage or you want to give them more chances, try 5-minute intervals.
