1/2 combo

I just found out I will be teaching this combo this year !! I was originally going to do a 2/3 combo but because of the numbers it changed ! I taught the 1/2 last year but I'm open to ideas. One thing I will be doing are theme units with both classes especially with social studies and science. It's challenging but I find if you are organized it helps. Also I had a lot of "second grade experts" that assisted the first graders as well as the second graders.
