I used Starfall's free materials for my 1st graders last year. They have workbooks, journals, and phonics books. The kids loved them and they were great quality for Freebies. They even sent me pencils, stickers and certificates. They go great with the website and can be used together in a center or computer class. We used the phonics books at the end of the year to review the different word families and then used them to buddy-read to the K's. They sent us enough for the entire grade. (8 classes)
