2nd grade real alouds

I stumbled across some new books that my kids just loved. It is a set of four books called The Tales of Dimwood Forest by Avi. The titles are Ragweed, Poppy, Poppy and Rye, and Ereth's Birthday. They were great and fun for me, too, since I had not read them before. I also always read the first Boxcar Children book which they enjoy, the three books from the My Father's Dragon series, and The Teddy Bear Tree in the fall. Story time is our favorite time of the day!
