These are all great ideas! Teacher resource books that you can buy (Mailbox, for example) often have game ideas to create. They often have "program cards" which are blank shapes tied into a theme like trains, rabbits, mittens, snowmen, etc. You use these cards, or make copies of them, and then "program" them howeevr you want to create matchign games or whatever. I have a picture set of "McD" french fry boxes, one set with fries one set w/o fries and turned them intoan uppercase/lowercase alphabet match game. The kids loved it.
