no centers

Clip to ScrapBook
Due to limited space, I run my centers as independent projects.
I put most of them in pocket folders that the students can take to their desk and work on there.
Usually after the first couple of weeks of school, I limit centers to students who have finished their core work, so it actually works more for those fast finishers who need to stay occupied long enough to give the slower students time to finish. I keep "fun" centers, with play toys etc, for rainy day recess and for an extra special reward.
