write a book!

Break your kids into groups and have them write books for 1st or 2nd graders... The assignment is to make a book that explains the difference between the different types- 1 book could be on singular/plural- have them illustrate, explain, etc... then have other groups do common and proper, etc... have the kids present each of their books to the class and then to a class in a lower grade- maybe 1,2, or 3rd- depending on what they are working on! Students could also create a Power Point Presentation on the different nouns- 1 page must contain common/proper, etc...
