Plexiglass on mine

Last year I took over classroom after teacher retired (32+ years). I didn't like her desk top. She had contact paper on it and it was ripped and unattractive. I measured the desk and had Home Depot cut a very thin piece of plexiglass piece to fit over the desk. Under this, I placed wrapping paper. My original plan was to change paper to match the season but I never had any time to do that. My original paper lasted until June. I was very pleased with how this turned out and of course the plexiglass will last me for years.
