Now, I'm from Washington State, and have never been to your area, but I know where I'm from, our donation locations are community known. So, I'm thinking that if you are looking for a place to donate your things to (by the way, your story is very encouraging. I'm a Christian as well, and it's an amazing thing to redevote your life to Christ, things change.) I'm thinking that your city hall will have a place for you to go. They should know. You could also try your local Salvation Army. I'm sorry if this wasn't much help, but you never know!
