Accelerated Reader?

I'm not sure which program you are looking for. Accelerated Reader uses common books that the students read and then they use the computer to answer comprehension questions about that book.

Since most of the books are leveled from grade 1.5 upwards it's not the best program for grade 1 unless you have readers right at the beginning of the year.

It's also an expensive program, but it's worthwhile if it's bought by the school to be used in a number of classes and grades.
