i like to wear a spelling word of the day on an index card hanging on a string around my neck. i start the year with the word "I", we say the word and then try to see if we see it in print. the next day the word is "am" . then "can" , then "like." after only 4 days i am building sentences:
I am_____
I can____
I like ______i wear the words daily. the kids look forward to it. so do others. everyone always has a comment for me. the words become part of their my sight word list.
