by Roland Smith is a great read from Seaman's point of view. My students really enjoy this book. And there is also a teacher's guide free to use with creative activities to do with your students integrating your standards.

I also had a dog obedience trainer come in and demonstrated how to train your dog. Followed up with a presenter who brought their Newfoundland dog into the class. You could hear a pin drop. The kids loved "Biaggi", and there wasn't one student who had ever seen a Newfy before. Thank you Kathy for the fall celebrations reminder. You'll have fun with L & C.
