Try to find the humor in the mishaps. Of course, they will not seem funny at the time, but reflect a few hours (or maybe days) later & try to see the humor. Sare with you fellow teachers; try to have a good laugh with them every day. I had a great relationship with another teacher & we would use each other to "dump on". While the one let everything out, the other simply sat & listened. Then we'd talk about it. We didn't always solve all the problems, but it felt great to share them. We referred to it as "Can I borrow your couch for a minutes?"
