Starching Fabric

I actually did this in my bathroom of our first apartment. I was doing an ocean theme, and cut out blue circles for bubbles. It held in the steamy bathroom for a little over a year. To remove it, just peel it off. I think that one of them was a little stuck, so I ran a warm wet cloth over it and it came right off. I am planning to do this very thing to my desk if I can just find an inexpensive jungle pattern that isn't too babyish. If you try it, make sure you completely soak the fabric in the starch.
