I have a theory that the best of teachers still have a lot of the best parts of their childhood left in them, the joy and excitement of sharing, the ability it see objects in an unconventional light with unconventional uses, the excitement of collecting things, the ability to share in the feelings of those around us, to feel the joy of our students as they learn, a bit of unconditional love, sometimes the most troublesome students are the ones who stick the most deeply in our minds and hearts. Teachers may be funny creatures, but I am so glad to be part of the group!
