I don't know if this will help any but I used to teach in a multi age setting. It consisted of a kindgergarten, first grade and second grade. I loved it. Every afternoon we did a whole group time where we taught science and social studies. It was a great help to have three minds together. We took turns presenting and teaching. It was a good time for us and the children. While one of us was teaching, the other two could be amoung the group to help and also disciplne. I would love to be in that situation again. I hope this will help you some.
