Writing Rubric

I've taught 2nd grade for 4 years and we use a writing rubric for their writing. Each type of writing is different and we, as a class, construct a writing rubric, for each piece of writing. In my district we use numbers, 4- being outstanding- using lots of details, correct cap's and punct., sticking to the topic, neatness, etc.... 3- would be satisfactory- using a good amount of details, caps, punct, sticking to the topic, and so on. 2- needs improvement, and 1 unsatisfactory.
