pencils

I use community supplies in my room. There is a basket on each table where pencils, erasers, and crayons are kept. Also at one spot in the room there are two pencil cups..one for pencils that need to be sharpened and one for sharp pencils. I am the only one who sharpens pencils. This works really well, I have so many leftover pencils from last year! Of course when there aren't any desks, pencils can't get lost in desks It is everybody's job in the room to pick up any pencils off the floor, and put them in the right cup.
