learnign centers
By Michelle L

Clip to ScrapBook
I had made learning centers for the primary grades where they sorted words by vowel sounds. For upper grades you could have them sort by themes- people from revolutionary war, civil war, etc.
Put an answer on a pail example- 56
Then have a bunch of math problems on cards. They have to put all the problems that equal 56 in the bucket. You could tape the answers to the bottom of the bucket for self checking.
Sort correctly used vocabulary words
Fill one with nouns, one with verbs, another adjectives. Have them pick one from each and write sentences using them.
Does this help?
