First weeks

Hey, I just finished reading all the messages and I do much the same thing. I truly believe the first few weeks of school are ssoooooo important for getting the rules down. I practice standing and sitting, lining up, walking quietly in the hall - all while in the midst of touring the school. I practice over and over the first week.
We discuss the rules together - I have a few must-do's and we talk about others. If you show them that you mean what you say and follow through with any consequences - it is truly a piece of cake after that. Have fun - it is the best career ever!! Maryann
