Another idea for getting to know your students and them getting to know each other is by a T/F questionnaire. I write 10 statements about myself and pass it out to them. They decide which ones they think are true and which ones they think are false about me. After discussing the answers. I have them make up T/F questions about themselves (at least 5 must be true). I preface it with not wanting to make the false too obvious. They switch papers with someone at their table and answer each others quizzes. Then you can have the partners introduce each other based on the new information they have learned.
