My advice? Take the lower payment for the longer length of time. You can't stretch yourself in all directions or something is going to suffer (probably you or your (soon-to-be) new child. Yes, it's horrible to think of making payments for that long, but really... People make those kinds of payments on a house... Your student loans enabled you get a stable paycheck! By the way, what are the clinton laws?! I haven't heard of them... Take care and try not to fret too much. There's really not much you (or I, for that matter) can do anyway!)
