Safety Sign art
By Barb

Clip to ScrapBook
One idea, depending on the ages/abilities of your students...give them a white piece of paper with just a perticular sign somewhere on it. One student may get a stop sign, another a Railroad crossing, another a hospital sign, etc... Then they have to draw a scene around that sign that is appropriate for the sign's meaning. I.E. If a hospital, show an ambulance pulling up, if a RR crossing, show a train coming through, etc. They can be very creative and open ended! I bought some safety sign stickers last year at a local teacher store...maybe you can find some more if you are lucky to help make your task easier.

Good luck!
