You can use her targeted skills on any grade level. In her books she suggests targeted skills for each grade level. The Building a Community of Writers will give the skills to be targeted for each level. If you are teaching K-2 I would recommend Teaching the Youngest Writers and if you are interested in Non Fiction Writing with the K-4 and use or have access to Newbridge Science Books look at her Non Fiction Writing Strategies. I started to use her strategies last year after attending her workshop, and the results in my Kindergarten class were phenominal! Keep me posted on your progress and I would be glad to answer any further questions, Elaine. Judy
