Word Wall

I use our list of high frequency words (Dolch words). I add 5 new words per week and review them by using different "word wall chants" or playing "I spy" ( I spy a word that has 4 letters and begins with s...") I can't remember the site for the chants but if you do a search for word wall chants you should find some. I also post a sign by our door (sort of like a movie marque) and I put the five words on it and practice them as we are waiting for everyone to line up or tell them their toll for passing the door is to read one of our words to me. Anything for fun!
