moving for a job, not in hopes of one
By Mateo

Clip to ScrapBook
My premise was that people need to find a job, get hired on and move... not to move in hopes of a job appearing...

the whole "who you know" thing is more than a little beat to death... in my hometown everybody knows everybody, so if favorites were played, no one would be happy and people would not be reelected/fired.

Excuses are continually made, yet I see jobs continuously posted nation wide.

Imagine teaching was "aeronautical engineering" or any other profession, say grocery store manager instead, would I expect to find a job where I live? Maybe, but probably not, I'd probably have to move to a job. Relocate, in other words.

more comments please.
Mateo
