You think that is bad . . .

I have three more weeks until school starts. The district just told me what school I will be working at. Unfortunately, they can't tell me what grade I will be be teaching. They can't even tell me the name of the principal because they haven't hired the principal yet. In one week I am supposed to attend a district workshop for new teachers. We are divided according to our grade level (a problem for me). This is my first year teaching. I am incredibly nervous. I am afraid that they will not tell me what grade level until the first day of school. I will walk in the first day and I will learn that I am teaching first grade in the cafeteria.
