Our math journal

Hi! We use a math journal each morning, and I'll share our set up with you. We have 4 sections to our morning math journal:
Section 1 The date: The students write the date and three math problems whose solution are that date (example today is the 26th, acceptable responses would be 30-4, 2x12+2, etc)
Section 2 Word of the Week: There is a weekly math vocab word that they have to do a variety of things with
Section 3 Mental math : 5 problems which the students can answer in their heads
Section 4 Problem of the day: A word problem that pertains to yesterday's study or prepares for end of grade testing. Hope this was helpful!
