easy christmas trees
By altateach

Clip to ScrapBook
This one takes a bit of prep but parents rave over it be it from Kindergarten to 6th grade. Have the kids start bring in cereal boxes(ideally have them only bring in the two wider sides). Also collect any size old jigsaw puzzles as everyone has those.

Cut out a tree shape and then glue on puzzle pieces with white glue. Make it more interesting by putting a few layers on them. Next step is paint tree green with tempura. When dry glue on candies, rickrack, sparkles.

*punch a hole at the top before glue! This is maybe too much for a table but worth a try. Like I said parents raved and the children learned a lot and had fun.
