Just a warning to those of you who prop doors open. I had a child whose out-of-state mother attempted to abduct her last year at school. I had no idea what she looked like before hand (she was huge and ugly!)and put my own life in jeopardy. I swooped the kid right out of her arms. I really became angry at the teachers who kept propping the doors open. I even had to lock down my room one time because of this woman. The police were called, but yikes! I teach in a very "safe" district, so that shows that none of us are immune from crazy people. Be careful and remember that the children's safety is our first priority! Connie
