Too much work!!!

I've subbed for maternity leaves twice, both for three months. The first teacher did the first week for me so that I could see the routine, then I did the rest, using my own judgement. I was basically the teacher and if I felt I needed to change something or do something out of the ordinary I did. The second teacher just met with me briefly and I did everything, but I had another teacher in the room so she helped out and basically did most of it. I don't think you need to take on so much responsibility for yourself. Trust that she is there because she is capable of being there and she can handle it. Enjoy the baby and the time off!!
