homework logs

In my class 4/5/6 multi-age we have homeowork logs that we fill out together as a class right before going home. We do it as a class, I write the assignemnts on the overhead projector and they copy down what is relevant to them. I quickly go around and sign off to see that they have really written their assignments down(I am actually really only checking certain kids becasue they needed the extra accountability). These logs also have their reading trackers in them. They have to read 30 minutes each night and bring it signed on Friday, with a parent signature-it is part of their reading grade.
