Don't feel bad. I have enjoyed reading all the theme ideas, but I do not do themes either. I have thought about it, but couldn't find one I would like to "live with" for a while. I decided to do a color theme (in a way). I have a dark green wall and three off white walls. I decided this year to paint my book shelves and add a few tablecloths and curtains to tie the room together (which Big Lots had). I chose light purple and tan. I figured it's not too girly for 3rd grade boys, but it is also not too bold. I think I am going to like the consistency and calmness of the colors together. (Previously my bookshelves were brown, yellow, & red...)
