Stephanie,It's great to hear that you've decided to go to WKU!! I just graduated from there in Dec '02. My 1st major was Elem Ed, then I changed it to Spec. Ed since there are more jobs and I enjoy working with kids one on one. The special ed and elementary ed programs are the best around at WKU. The professors are overly helpful and the classes are loads of fun.
I have moved back home to Pikeville, KY to start my teaching. Jobs are very open for Spec Ed. and Elem Ed in Kentucky...you shouldn't have any problems getting a job! Please feel free to email me if you would like some more information on WKU or work! Take Care and Good Luck!!!
