Quality and durability

While I'm all for saving money, I recommend looking for a rug that will last for a number of years.

We bought a remnant piece one year for my classroom and by the 3rd year it was in terrible shape.

Two years ago I had my Principal buy a new rug for my classroom and this time I helped with the decision and we went with a large braided rug (from Sears).

It still looks like brand-new. It's easy to roll up as well to move out of the way. Mine is oval shaped and it's large enough for 20-24 children to sit on it comfortably. And I could probably squeeze a few more children on if I moved it out from the wall a bit.
