attitude
By Susan/5th

Clip to ScrapBook
I'm going to use this idea that someone posted! Assign each letter a number A=1, B=2, C=3 and have them add up the letters in the word attitude. It equals 100! That brings in math and gives a great lesson on attitude for the year!

I also give a general math assessment that is provided by Saxon, but I wait a few days to do that. It lets me know what areas we need to focus on.

We also look over the math book so the students know what to expect for the year. We look at the index, table of contents, etc... We discuss items they haven't had in the past, and areas they've done a million times!
