Homework Folders
By SaraMO

Clip to ScrapBook
My students each have a Homework Folder which they take home each night and bring back each day. Last year, I had a Homework Collector. This person would stand next to our homework chart and call each persons name. (Usually 3 or 4 at a time) The students would then turn in their homework (into our homework tray) and put a sticker next to their name. No homework, no sticker. I could easily glance at the chart and see who's turned in work and who hasn't. This worked really well for my 3rd grade. Of course there were students who forgot their homework or their folders. If they forget or did not turn in homework more than 2 days in a row, they would owe me morning recess. Hope this makes sense!
