Oh...
By BuzyBee

Clip to ScrapBook
Well, you could make a board that will "grow" once the students arrive. Make a brown strip at the bottom for the dirt and glue a sunflower seed for each student across the bottom. Write each student's name on a tongue depressor stick, (like a seed marker in a garden). Put a giant watering can at the top like it is pouring. Make drops of water coming out of the can. Make a large sun for the other corner. You could use the same titles and have students make a flower for the board after they arrive. This way, it won't be too plain and they can find their seed.

You could also use old flower seed packages to scatter around the board to add something while waiting for student flowers.
