OUr die cut machine is called an ellison machine....they are rather expensive...our PTO bought us the alphabet and other die cuts that are used often such as seasonal ones like hearts, clovers, stars, school bus...maybe you could get the PTO to do the same for you so your school could at least have the alphabet? or maybe a fund raiser? it's worth it to have it...sure saves a lot of time. Also our Intermediate school district has a huge set of the machines and die cuts...we can just sign up to go and make as many die cuts as time allows....just have to bring your own paper. All the teachers in our county are able to go there. Maybe that's something your area could do?
