brainstorming ideas

Clip to ScrapBook
For your first bulletin board, how about "Worth the look, try this book!" or something like that. Or you could try a top ten list "Ms. _______'s Top Ten List" and change the list accordingly. For the second bulletin board, I would try to link it to a classroom theme if you have one, or the school's reading incentive program. For example, my school's reading incentive program's motto was "Books are treasures waiting to be discovered." I made a bulletin board using a map of a fictious island, and each student made up a name of town using their name, i.e. Jonville. At each town was a marker of how many books were discovered. I had the kids keep track and change the bulletin board accordingly every week or so. Hope these ideas help.
