I have so many books now - that I sometimes don't get to use them all! I simply started by sending home the scholastic book order forms each month and along with them I included my wish list - and how many of each book I would need to have for teaching - sometimes if there was a cheaper really good chapter book I would include a letter saying we will be using this book next month - I am purchasing 12 so each student can share if you would like to buy your child their own copy - please do -- and many times they would donate the book after we were done. After a year of doing this I had built up thousands of bonus points which I then used for buying other more spendy books. Hope this helps!
