Of course, there's the work portfolio option, collecting copies of their work over time, but I'm sure you know about that. I have young students with IEP's that indicate specific goals that I have to target & keep track of, so I use a work portfolio and a grid chart. It's a standard grid, with the first column down listing the dates that we work 1:1 & the child's goals written in each box across the top. Each time we work on a specific goal I record progress for that day & goal in it's box. Say the goal is to expressively ID all the lowercase letters of the alphabet. If they did half of them I'd record 13/26 and perhaps include a comment note that /b/d/p/q were confused each time. Hope this helps!
