pa history
By Penny

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi! I am also a 4th grade teacher, teaching pa history, it sounds as though you have the same book I have. "PA, Adventures in Time and Place" I will be beginning my second year of teaching this, but last year I found that the projects I assigned each marking period made the material more interesting. I used the back of the book for my project ideas. The index in the teacher's manual gives easy, moderate and challenging projects for students. I assigned a point value to each project and gave them the full 9 weeks to complete. I required each student to complete at least 75 points worth of projects, and any over was bonus points. I was truly amazed by some of the ideas and projects I received each marking period. I hope this is helpful!
