tadpoles By Susan/5th

I did it last year and it was a huge hit! A student brought them in from the ditch outside their house. I don't know if you can get them at stores. As they start growing legs, start lowering the water. They'll drown if you don't have it low enough for them to jump out of, by the time they have a full set. You can lower it a little, then add something for them to hop onto (a large rock). When they're completely frogs, have just a small area for them to get wet in and lots to crawl on. Also, keepa few green plants in there (from the ditch, if possible). I bought frog/tadpole food from the pet store to feed them. They're really easy and so cool to watch!!!
