Classroom Ideas

Clip to ScrapBook
I have used both programs. The schools I were in did not have all the grades doing the program so I had to some up with things in my classroom. I would have the kids set a goal for a quarter such as 30 points (LOW THIRD GRADE READERS IN MY CLASSES). Then if we reached the goal I would have a movie afternoon and popcorn and pop. If you didn't reach your goal you would go to another room and do work or read. This got their attention. I also set it up that if everyone got their goal before the end of the quarter we would have a pizza party or an ice cream sundae party (they got to choose). This worked well and I had them make it every quarter even though I raised their goals by 25% every quarter.
