I am not teaching yet, but I have worked in classes. This is an idea I am toying with. It is not too different from others...
I want to buy one of those pocket charts. One that is long and narrow. It has two columns down.
I am going to put library pockets inside my books. Each with its own card. The pocket chart will have each childs name listed down the one column. In the empty column, I want to have the students place the book card next to their name. It doesn't require them looking anywhere else for a card. I think it will be relativly easy and not take up too much time or space.
If someone has already tried this and it doesn't work...stop me before I buy it!!!
