I cut a sheet of posterboard a litle less than half a sheet, maybe a third. I label enough jobs for each student in my classroom. Everyone has a clothespin with his/her name on it. Each clothespin is clipped on one of the jobs on the chart. This tells the student their job for the day. At the end of the day, the bottom clothespin is taken off the chart, everyone is moved down one job and the clothespin I took off first goes at the top-Leader! Some of my other jobs are doorholder, messenger, table washers, snack helpers, paper filer, paper passer, board eraser. I always think of enough so everyone can have a different job each day. I've used this plan for years and it's always worked well for me. P.S. The names are listed vertically on the chart. I laminate it also.
