On my desks....

The slippers are cute idea, but I'd hate to see how they'd turn out if I made them...I'm terrible at crochet.
I'm doing a jungle theme, so I made each of my students a name tag that looks like a license plate with tiger print background. I also bought treat bags and in each one will put 5 jungle bucks (our classroom money), an animal skin patterned pencil, an eraser, a note from me welcoming them to my class, and a questionaire that they can fill out. When they come into class the first day, they will find the bag. This way, they'll have a sharpened pencil to write with and something to keep themselves busy while I get everyone settled into their new seats. Sorry this was so long...
