Berenstain Bears Book
By Pam

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Crystal--- I teach 4th grade, and a book I read aloud each year is the Berenstain Bears and the Trouble School. (Or maybe it's The Trouble with Homework.... Hmmmm can't remember at the moment)

Anyway- even my 4th
graders still like the B Bears. The whole theme of this book is about how Brother Bear gets behind in his school work because he was home sick... Grizzly Gramps helps brother by showing him a wagon that Gramps drove into the swamp, and was too stuborn to "back up and fix his mistake of going the wrong way". Basically- brother learns that if you get behind in school or anything else, how
to fix your mistakes.

It's a fun book because it talks about school, school work, being responsible, etc... Plus it's fairly short for those very short attention spans you get at the beginning of the year!
