Clip to ScrapBook
I don't know how large the chain is, but if you have a 1,2,3 Dollar store near you they have some neat inexpensive items. For one dollar each, I found alphabet stencils and crepe rubber(Foam Educational Puzzles) with color
words on one puzzle and days of the week on another. The puzzles are round, and bright and hold together well. I am thinking of putting them up on a bulletin board with push tacks around them and then using them as puzzles later.

Our Walmart has a small display of teacher items, bulletin board set, borders, stickers and a few games. For under $4 I got Phonics Tiles, an 88 piece set

(word chunks) and for under $7 I got a plastic jar of Word Tiles, 160 pieces. Both sets appear to be very similar to items I have seen in educational catalogs for a fraction of the price.
